A few months ago, I had the honor of designing some high school graduation announcements for my sister in law. She is seriously like a supermodel which makes it impossible to ruin these. I kept it in a color theme she liked and brought in a lot of different textures. I printed it on metallic paper and it looks awesome contrasted with the kraft paper.
High school brings up all kinds of memories for me. I remember having a Nirvana poster in my closet. Not hanging on my closet, but rolled up and hidden in the back top shelf. I had to hide them from my mom, then one day she found it and threw it away without telling me. How disappointing! So naturally, my friend went out and bought me a brand new Kurt Cobain poster. I have no clue what happened to it or what the purpose was of holding it hostage in my closet.
Speaking of high school I just bought some killer blue lockers off craigslist and can’t wait to Frankenstein them. Just hoping I won’t hate my creation when I’m done!
